Hi everyone, I just got my hands on the Wyze Cam V3 and decided to give the Cam Plus free trial a shot. I’ve been really impressed with the setup process and the AI features Wyze offers. However, I’ve run into a bit of a snag with the person detection feature.
After setting up the camera and enabling the Cam Plus subscription, I went to the settings to turn on person detection under Wyze AI. Everything seemed to be in order—the subscription status showed as active, and I didn’t encounter any errors during the setup. But here’s where things got a bit confusing: when I navigated to the notifications section, I only saw options for motion and sound detection. The person detection and Wyze AI options were nowhere to be found.
I’ve double-checked my settings, ensured the subscription is active, and even restarted the camera to see if that would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the problem persists. I’m really hoping someone in the community might have encountered this before and could offer some advice or a workaround.
It’s a bit frustrating because I was really looking forward to leveraging the advanced AI features for better security and monitoring. If anyone has any insights or solutions, I’d greatly appreciate your help! Thanks in advance for your support.
