Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on setting up Wyze Cam v3 cameras for outdoor surveillance without the Cam Plus subscription. We have a remote garden in the mountains that we want to protect from trespassers and wandering sheep. While we have a traditional wired CCTV system, we’re exploring adding a parallel system using Wyze Cams for their smart motion detection features.
I’m particularly interested in understanding how effective the AI is without the Cam Plus subscription. The garden is in a woody area, so we’re concerned about false positives from tree and grass movements. Would the AI be able to distinguish between people/animals and natural movements effectively?
If anyone has experience with this setup or can share insights, it would be greatly appreciated! We’re hoping to avoid a flood of unnecessary alerts while still getting reliable notifications when needed.
