Hey everyone, I recently upgraded my Wyze Cam V3, and I’m noticing something a bit odd. The camera is only recording still photos during motion events instead of the usual 12-second clips. I’ve checked the settings multiple times, and everything seems to be in order. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I’m wondering if it’s a firmware glitch or maybe something on my end. I’ve tried restarting the camera, resetting it to factory settings, and even updating the firmware, but the problem persists. It’s a bit frustrating because I rely on the video clips to monitor my home effectively. On the bright side, the camera’s video quality and motion detection sensitivity are still top-notch.
