The Wyze Cam V3 has been a game-changer for our apartment complex’s security, especially with its improved night vision capabilities. After experiencing issues with car thieves, I upgraded from the V2 model, and the difference in night video quality is remarkable. The color night vision on the V3 provides much clearer footage compared to the black and white V2, which was insufficient for identifying suspects.
However, I’ve noticed some compression artifacts around moving objects, which is somewhat distracting. While stationary objects remain unaffected, this issue is more pronounced during motion. I hope that future firmware updates will address this, as the overall performance of the camera is excellent otherwise.
