The quick start guide labels it as an ‘indoor adaptor,’ but I’m wondering if it’s possible to use this adapter outdoors with an extension cable. I’d love to set up my camera in a covered outdoor area, and using the indoor adapter with an extension seems like a practical solution. Has anyone tried this before? Any tips or experiences to share would be greatly appreciated!
Another issue I’ve encountered is with the custom motion detection zones on my Wyze Cam v3. I’ve set up specific areas for motion detection, but I’m noticing that objects moving outside these zones still trigger alerts and event recordings. This is a bit frustrating as I’d like the motion detection to be more precise. I’m currently running firmware version 4.36.1.4 and the latest iOS app version. Does anyone else experience this problem, or have any solutions or workarounds they could suggest?
