I’ve been experimenting with my Wyze Cam v3 and Wyze Cam Pan v3 cameras, both equipped with Cam+ and smart detection features. While the Cam v3 reliably detects animals, such as the coyote that frequents my canyon, the Pan v3 has been inconsistent. Despite reviewing the footage and ensuring all settings are identical, the Pan v3 fails to trigger recordings when an animal enters the frame. Instead, it often flags a bush moving in the wind as a person, which is clearly a false positive. I’ve tried adjusting the motion sensitivity settings, recalibrating the camera’s field of view, and even reinstalling the firmware, but the issue persists. Has anyone else encountered this problem or found a workaround? I’d love to hear your experiences and suggestions!
