Wyze Cam v4 Integration Issues and Community Assistance Request

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my recent experience with the Wyze Cam v4 and seek some advice from the community. I recently purchased two Wyze Cam v4 units during a Father’s Day sale, hoping to enhance my home security setup. However, the installation process has been quite challenging and has led to some unexpected issues with my existing camera setup.

The first v4 unit arrived and unfortunately turned out to be defective, so I had to return it. The second v4 unit seemed to work fine initially, but after a few days, I noticed a significant problem: over half of my 21 cameras were no longer connecting for live streaming in the Wyze app. The issue occurs during the “Authenticating with the cam” step, and I suspect it might be related to AWS server problems since the Alexa app is also not working for live streaming, while Google Home is still functional.

This situation is quite concerning because everything was working perfectly before I installed the v4 units. I’ve tried troubleshooting by resetting the gateway and mesh network, but only a few cameras are now connecting on the home tab in the Wyze app. I’m considering returning both v4 units, but I’m hoping the community might have some insights or solutions before I make that decision.

If anyone has encountered similar issues or has advice on how to resolve this, I’d greatly appreciate it. Let’s see if we can figure this out together!
