Hey everyone, I’ve recently purchased a Wyze Cam v2 and I must say, the video recording feature is fantastic. However, I noticed that all the recorded videos are split into one-minute segments, which can be a bit inconvenient when trying to review long periods of footage. After spending some time thinking about how to make this process easier, I decided to create a PowerShell utility that joins these small video files into larger, more manageable ones.
The tool works seamlessly by automatically detecting the SD card when it’s plugged in, and it merges all the one-minute videos into daily chunks. This way, scrolling through hours of footage becomes a breeze! I’ve made sure the script is incredibly user-friendly, so even if you don’t have any programming knowledge, you can still use it without any issues.
Since it’s a PowerShell script, it should work across different operating systems like Windows, Mac, and Linux, although I’ve only tested it on Windows 10 so far. I’ve included detailed instructions in the accompanying file to guide you through the setup and usage process.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on this tool and any suggestions you might have to improve it further. If you run into any issues or have questions, feel free to reach out, and I’ll do my best to assist you. Happy viewing! ![]()
