Hey everyone, I wanted to share a quick and effective solution I found for mounting my Wyze Cam outdoor cameras. I’ve been using double-sided tape to attach the cameras to the windows of my home and office, and it’s been working perfectly! 
The Problem:
When I first set up my Wyze Cams, I struggled with finding the right way to secure them outdoors without drilling holes or leaving visible mounts that could be tampered with. Traditional suction cups didn’t work well due to the window’s smooth surface, and I didn’t want to risk damaging the glass with heavy-duty adhesives.

How It Works:

- Press the camera firmly against the window, making sure it’s aligned correctly.
- Let it sit for a few minutes to ensure the bond is strong.
Why It’s Great:
- Stealth Mode: The tape blends in seamlessly, making it nearly impossible for someone to notice the camera unless they’re right up close.
- Tamper-Proof: Since the camera is secured to the window, would-be intruders can’t just yank it off without breaking the glass or entering the premises.
- No Drilling Required: This method is completely non-destructive, so it’s perfect for renters or those who want to avoid permanent modifications.
Pro Tip:
If you’re worried about the tape losing its stickiness over time, you can easily reapply it. Just peel off the old tape, clean the surface, and attach fresh tape. I’ve been using this method for over six months, and it’s held up beautifully!
