I wanted to share my recent experience with my Wyze Cam 2 in the garage. I’ve been using it for a few months now, and everything was working perfectly until recently. Here’s the story:For the past few weeks, I noticed that my Wyze Cam would activate twice—once when the garage door opened, and again when the lights turned off after 15 minutes. At first, I thought it was a glitch, but it started happening consistently. I set the sensitivity to the lowest setting, but it didn’t help. 
After some research and trial and error, I figured out what was happening. The camera was detecting the lights turning off as motion! It turns out that the 15-minute light delay I set was causing the camera to reset and reactivate when the lights went out. I changed the light timing back to 30 seconds, and the issue stopped. 
This experience taught me how sensitive these cameras can be to environmental changes. If you’re experiencing similar issues, I recommend experimenting with your light timings or adjusting the camera’s sensitivity further.
