Wyze Camera Connection Issues and Smart Plug Experiences

I recently encountered an issue with my Wyze cameras where they would randomly disconnect from my Android phone. The connection spinner would keep spinning, and it wouldn’t connect even after several attempts. Interestingly, both cameras showed strong signal bars, with one being 25 feet from the router and the other in the backyard. The only workaround I found was to reboot my Samsung Note 20 Plus, which temporarily resolved the issue. I’ve updated all cameras, my phone, and the Wyze app, but the problem persists. Does anyone have a more permanent solution or troubleshooting steps they can recommend?

On a more positive note, I’ve been experimenting with Govee smart plugs, and I must say, they’ve been a fantastic addition to my setup. I use one to control my Christmas tree lights and another for my bedroom lights, which aren’t Govee. The ability to toggle them via voice commands or the app is incredibly convenient. Plus, the small on/off button on the plug itself is a nice touch for manual control. If you haven’t tried these plugs yet, I highly recommend giving them a shot!
