Hey everyone, I’m facing a bit of a dilemma with my Wyze cameras. I recently updated their firmware to the latest version from January 2024, and now I’m experiencing some connectivity issues. It’s a bit frustrating because these cameras were working perfectly before the update.
I have six cameras in total: three Cam V3 models, two Cam Pan V3 units, and one Cam Pan with firmware versions 4.36.11.83941, 4.50.4.8409, and 4.10.9.3006 respectively. After the update, they rarely connect without me having to manually turn them off and back on. I even installed a new router thinking the old one might be causing the issue, but the problem persists.
I tried reaching out to Wyze support, but it seems like they’re aware of the issue but haven’t provided a fix yet. I’m considering switching to a competitor’s cameras if this isn’t resolved soon, but I really like the Wyze ecosystem.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I’m curious if there’s a workaround or if others have had similar experiences. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated! ![]()
