Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze camera and motion alarm system. Recently, I noticed that my Wyze camera was causing the motion alarm to trip almost immediately after locking the house. It was quite frustrating as it kept triggering false alarms. After some research and troubleshooting, I found that the issue was due to the camera’s placement being too close to the motion sensor. The camera’s movement or slight vibrations were being detected by the sensor, causing the alarm to go off.
I decided to try moving the camera slightly away from the motion sensor, and to my relief, the problem was resolved. It’s amazing how a simple adjustment can make such a big difference. I also adjusted the sensitivity settings on the motion sensor to ensure it doesn’t pick up minor movements.
If anyone else is experiencing similar issues, I recommend checking the placement of your camera relative to the motion sensor and adjusting the sensitivity settings. It’s always good to experiment a bit to find the perfect setup.
I hope this helps someone out there. Happy smart home tinkering! ![]()
