Hey everyone! I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze camera motion detection feature. I recently set up my first Wyze camera on my porch, and I must say, it’s been a great addition to my smart home setup. However, I noticed that the motion detection was a bit too sensitive on the high setting, so I decided to adjust it to medium. This seems to strike a good balance between detecting movement and avoiding false alerts.
One thing I’ve noticed is that the placement of the camera can really affect its performance. I positioned mine a bit further to the right side of the porch, but I’m a bit concerned it might not capture license plates clearly. I’ve tested the motion detection by walking up to the porch, and it works decently. If anyone has any suggestions on improving the camera’s placement or sensitivity settings, I’d love to hear them!
Overall, I’m really happy with how the Wyze camera has enhanced my home security. It’s user-friendly, and the app integration is seamless. I’m excited to explore more features and maybe even integrate it with other smart devices in my home. If you’re thinking about getting a Wyze camera, I’d definitely recommend it! ![]()
