Wyze Camera Offline Issue and Potential Solutions

Hello community, I’ve been experiencing an issue with my Wyze cameras where they occasionally go offline. The strike-through cloud icon appears, and I can’t access the live feed or playback. I’ve tried the usual troubleshooting steps like resetting the cameras, checking the network connection, and updating the firmware, but nothing seems to resolve the problem permanently.

I’d like to share what I’ve done so far and also seek advice from others who might have encountered similar issues. First, I noticed that the problem often occurs after a firmware update. I updated my cameras to the latest version, 4.36.11.4073, but they started acting up shortly after. I’ve also tried disconnecting and reconnecting the cameras from power, as well as resetting the router and modem. None of these steps have helped.

I’m wondering if there’s a specific setting or configuration I might have missed. Could it be related to the network setup, such as DHCP lease times or firewall rules? I’ve also heard that factory resetting the cameras is a last resort, but I’d rather avoid that if possible, especially with the snow on the ground.
