Hi everyone, I’ve come across an interesting issue with my Wyze cameras and wanted to share my experience in case others are facing the same problem. Hopefully, we can find a solution together!
So, here’s the situation: Whenever I disconnect the power from my Wyze cameras and reconnect them, the cameras become unviewable in the app. This isn’t just with one camera—it’s happening with all five of mine! The only way I’ve found to fix it is to hold down the pairing button for about 30 seconds until the camera enters pairing mode, and then go through the entire setup process again. This is pretty frustrating, especially since it’s happening consistently across all my cameras.
I’ve reached out to Wyze support, but the response I got wasn’t very helpful. They mentioned that it might be resolved with future firmware updates, but I’m not holding my breath. In the meantime, I’m curious if anyone else has encountered this issue and if there’s a workaround or fix that I’m missing.
On a positive note, I’ve heard great things about Wyze’s customer service and community support. Maybe by sharing my experience here, we can collectively find a better solution or at least understand why this is happening. I’m also considering reaching out to other forums or communities to see if they’ve had similar experiences.
