As a user of multiple Wyze cameras, I’ve had a consistent experience with their update system. Whenever I open the app to check on my cameras, especially during an alarm or urgent situation, I’m often prompted to update the camera firmware. While updates are necessary, timing them when I’m trying to address an urgent issue feels less than ideal.
I’d love to see the update process shifted to occur after I’ve finished viewing the camera. This way, I can address any immediate concerns without interruption. If updates are deferred until after I close the camera view, it would make the experience smoother and more user-friendly.
In the meantime, I’ve found that manually updating cameras during non-urgent times helps ensure they stay current without disrupting my peace of mind. I’m curious if others have encountered similar experiences or have suggestions for improving this process.
