Hey everyone, I just wanted to share a quick tip I discovered while trying to upload videos from my Wyze camera to Google Photos. I’ve been using Wyze cameras for a while now, and I absolutely love how easy they are to set up and use. However, I recently ran into an issue where I couldn’t upload a video to Google Photos because it was too large. I thought I’d share how I worked around this issue in case anyone else is having the same problem.First, I tried uploading the video directly from the Wyze app, but it kept getting rejected due to its size. I was a bit frustrated because I really wanted to keep the video for my records. After a bit of research, I found that Google Photos has a limit on file sizes, and unfortunately, Wyze videos often exceed this limit. To solve this, I decided to compress the video using a free online tool. I exported the video from the Wyze app, used a video compression tool to reduce its size without losing too much quality, and then tried uploading it again. This time, it worked perfectly! The video quality was still great, and it was small enough to upload.Another thing I discovered is that if you’re using Wyze cameras with Google Assistant, you can set up notifications to automatically send alerts to your Google account. This has been super helpful for keeping track of activity around my home.
