Wyze Doorbell Camera Image Quality Issue After Firmware Update

I wanted to share my experience with the Wyze doorbell camera after a recent firmware update. I’ve been really happy with the device overall—it’s been reliable and provides great video quality. However, after the firmware update last night, I noticed a significant drop in image clarity.

Previously, both day and night images were sharp and detailed. Now, during the day, the video appears washed out, and at night, the lights are all blurry, almost like stars. I’ve checked the settings, and everything seems unchanged. The lighting conditions are consistent, so I’m pretty sure it’s not an environmental issue.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues after a firmware update? I’d love to hear if others are facing this and if there are any workarounds or solutions. I’m considering reaching out to Wyze support, but I wanted to check if this is a known issue first.

In the meantime, I’m trying to see if rolling back the firmware is an option, though I’m not sure how to do that. Any advice would be appreciated!
