Hi everyone, I’ve been trying to integrate my Wyze Doorbell V2 with an existing 220V chime system, but I’m running into some challenges. The Wyze Doorbell V2 is designed for 24VAC, which I know isn’t directly compatible with my 220V setup. I’ve heard that a transformer can help bridge the voltage difference, but I’m stuck on how to connect the chime itself, which only works on 220V.
I’ve reached out to some forums and experts, and while there are solutions for 24V systems, adapting it for 220V seems tricky. I’m wondering if there’s a workaround or an adapter that can make this work without having to replace the entire chime system.
On a related note, I’ve heard great things about the Wyze Doorbell V2’s features, like two-way audio and motion detection, but it’s frustrating not being able to fully integrate it with my current setup. If anyone has successfully done something similar or has advice, I’d really appreciate the help! Thanks in advance for your insights. ![]()
