Wyze Floodlight Pro Troubleshooting and Solutions

I’ve been using the Wyze Floodlight Pro for over a year now, and it’s been a reliable addition to my home security setup. However, recently I’ve encountered some issues where the camera goes offline repeatedly. I’ve tried the usual troubleshooting steps like turning off the power, waiting a few minutes, and turning it back on, but the problem persists. The camera even shows a solid purple light, which I believe indicates a factory reset is needed. Unfortunately, holding down the setup button doesn’t seem to work, and the camera never responds with a “ready to connect” message.

I’ve reached out to Wyze support, but their automated responses haven’t been helpful. They suggested submitting a log, which I did, but that didn’t resolve the issue either. I’m really hoping someone in the community has encountered this problem and can offer a solution. Maybe there’s a specific reset procedure or a firmware update I’m missing?

In the meantime, I’ve been manually checking the camera status and hoping it doesn’t happen again. It’s a bit frustrating, especially since I rely on this camera for monitoring my porch.
