Wyze Home Security System: Achieving Full Control for Multiple Users

As a homeowner, I’ve recently installed the Wyze Home Security system and am now looking to set it up for my tenants. The goal is to ensure both parties have full control over the system, including arming/disarming, viewing cameras, making changes, and resetting the system. I’ve explored several options but am unsure which approach is best supported by Wyze. Here’s what I’ve considered:

  1. Separate Wyze Accounts: Creating individual accounts for each tenant and configuring the same property in the app. This could provide clear separation but might complicate shared access.

  2. Shared Credentials: Using the same username and password for both parties. While straightforward, this could lead to security concerns if credentials are misused.

  3. Sharing via Home Security Settings: The app’s share option doesn’t seem to allow camera access, which is a critical requirement for both parties.

  4. Sharing via Wyze Account Settings: Choosing to share the account with a new user. This might be the most balanced approach, but I’m not entirely sure how it affects system control.

  5. Alternative Solutions: I’m open to any other methods I might not have thought of yet.

I’d greatly appreciate any insights or recommendations from the community on the most secure and effective way to achieve this setup. Ensuring seamless and secure access for both tenants and myself is crucial, so I’m eager to hear your experiences and suggestions!
