However, I’ve encountered a few bumps along the way that I’d love to discuss with the community.
First off, I’ve been using the Wyze Cam Pan for outdoor surveillance, and it’s been a game-changer. The motion detection is spot-on, and the night vision is crisp even in complete darkness. But here’s the catch—when I tried integrating it with my existing outdoor Wi-Fi setup, I ran into some connectivity issues. The camera kept dropping its connection randomly, which was quite frustrating. After some research, I discovered that removing my TP-Link RE220 mesh extenders seemed to stabilize the connection. It’s been three days now, and I haven’t faced any dropouts yet. I’m curious if others have experienced similar issues or found alternative solutions!
Another thing I wanted to share is how I’ve been naming my devices. Inspired by Harry Potter, I’ve christened my ice maker “Glacius” after the freezing charm. Imagine having a “Work from Home” profile that adjusts the temperature in my office while lowering it elsewhere. It’s a feature I’d love to see more of, as my schedule is quite dynamic.
