Hi everyone, I wanted to share a quick fix I discovered for my Wyze Lock not recognizing new batteries. It was frustrating because I knew the batteries were good, but the lock just wouldn’t register them. After some research and trial and error, here’s what worked for me:

Locate the Update Button: On the base unit near your lock, there’s a small, round button. This is crucial for re-syncing the lock with the new batteries.

Hold Until Flashing: Press and hold that button until you see the lights start flashing red and green. This indicates the lock is entering update mode.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi: Once it’s flashing, release the button and let it reconnect to your home network. It should automatically start working again without any further issues.
