Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience installing the Wyze lock on my front door. I’ve been wanting to upgrade my home security for a while now, and the Wyze lock seemed like the perfect fit. However, the installation process wasn’t as straightforward as I hoped.
My front door deadbolt doesn’t have a thumb latch—it’s key-only on both sides. This threw me off a bit, but after some research and trial and error, I found a solution. I ended up using a small screwdriver to manually adjust the lock mechanism, which allowed the Wyze lock to fit properly. It was a bit nerve-wracking, but it worked out in the end!
