Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with Wyze motion sensors. I’ve been using two of them in my bathrooms to control a hot water recirculating pump in the garage. It’s been a great setup, but I ran into an issue when both sensors were triggered at the same time. The first sensor would clear and turn off the pump prematurely, even though the second sensor was still detecting motion.
After some research, I found a solution! By adjusting the sensitivity settings on both sensors, I ensured they worked in harmony. I also set up a short delay in the automation rule to prevent premature shutdown. Now, the pump stays on as long as either sensor detects motion.
It’s amazing how a little tweak can make such a difference. Wyze devices are so reliable, and with a bit of troubleshooting, they really shine. If anyone else is dealing with similar issues, I’d recommend checking the sensitivity settings and experimenting with delays. Happy automating!
