I’ve been really enjoying my Wyze night lights—they’re so convenient and add a nice touch to my home. However, I’ve encountered a small issue that’s been puzzling me. I installed three night lights, all set to AUTO mode, and they sync up perfectly. The problem arises when they’re supposed to detect motion. Instead of turning on automatically when I walk by, they only activate when I manually take them off the magnetic plate. I’ve placed them at the recommended height of 1.2 meters, as per the guide, but the motion detection just doesn’t seem to work in AUTO mode.
I’m wondering if there’s something I might be missing or if there’s a setting I need to adjust. Could it be a placement issue, or maybe a firmware update is needed? I’d hate to have to replace them, as they’ve been working great otherwise. Any tips or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated! I’m hopeful there’s a simple fix out there.
