Wyze OG Cam Microphone Issues: Seeking Solutions

Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to the community for some advice regarding an issue I’m experiencing with my Wyze OG Cams. I’ve had these cameras for a while now, and they’ve been a reliable addition to my home security setup. However, I’ve recently encountered a problem that’s been quite frustrating.

The issue is with the microphone functionality during live view. After about 15 seconds of connecting to the camera, the microphone cuts out, and the person on the other end can no longer hear me. Interestingly, I can still hear them perfectly fine on my phone. This problem persists across both of my OG Cams, and it’s affecting my ability to communicate effectively through the cameras.

I’ve tried several troubleshooting steps to resolve this issue. I’ve rebooted the cameras multiple times, re-formatted them, and ensured that all firmware updates are applied. Despite these efforts, the problem remains unchanged. I’m starting to think that there might be a software glitch or a configuration issue that I’m not aware of.

I’m curious if anyone else in the community has experienced a similar issue with their Wyze OG Cams. If so, I’d love to hear about any solutions or workarounds that you’ve discovered. Additionally, if there are any specific settings or configurations that I might have overlooked, I’d appreciate your guidance.
