I recently purchased the Wyze Pan Cam, and I must say, the initial setup was quite seamless. The ability to monitor my home from anywhere and the smooth panning feature were impressive. However, I’ve encountered an unusual issue that’s been a bit frustrating. The camera occasionally points in random directions—sometimes straight up at the ceiling, other times hanging down at a 90-degree angle. It’s as if it’s lost its sense of direction entirely.
At first, I thought it might be a software glitch, so I tried resetting the camera several times. The issue would temporarily resolve, but it always came back. I’ve also noticed that sometimes the camera rotates 180 degrees and starts monitoring the TV instead of the intended area. This behavior is inconsistent and makes it difficult to rely on the camera for consistent surveillance.
I’ve checked the forums and seen that others have experienced similar issues, but many of those threads seem to have been archived. I’m hoping someone here might have a solution or workaround. Has anyone else faced this problem, and if so, how did you resolve it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!
