Hey everyone, I’m reaching out to the community for some guidance. I’ve been using my Wyze Pan v2 cameras for a while now, and they’ve been working perfectly. However, over the past couple of days, I’ve noticed an issue that’s a bit concerning.
Previously, when I turned off the cameras via the app, they would continue to record to the SD card while offline. This was super convenient, especially since the cameras are in public view in my office. I never had any issues with this functionality until now.
Now, when I turn them off, they don’t seem to be recording to the SD card anymore. I’ve checked the settings on each camera, and it still says ‘record continuously to SD card.’ I’m wondering if there was a recent firmware update that might have caused this change. I’m not sure if all four SD cards could have a problem simultaneously, as they work fine when the cameras are turned on.
Has anyone else experienced something similar? Is there a setting I might be missing or a workaround to restore this functionality? I’d really appreciate any advice or insights you can share. Thanks in advance for your help!
