Wyze PanCam V3: Motion Detection and Firmware Issues

Cam #1: The Silent Watcher
My first camera updated its firmware successfully, but now it’s like it’s on mute—no motion detection at all. The tagging features that should highlight motion areas are also MIA, no green boxes in sight. Despite a solid 92% connection, it’s as if the camera is just posing for the network. The cherry on top? A frustrating 15-20 second lag between actual movement and the notification on my phone. I mean, who has time to wait for a notification when the party’s already over?

Cam #2: The Stubborn Upgrader
Now, my second camera is a bit of a rebel. It detects motion just fine and the tagging works like a charm, but it refuses to update its firmware. I’ve tried the firmware upgrade five times, and each time it’s like trying to teach a dog to do calculus—it just doesn’t click. And just like its sibling, it suffers from the same annoying lag issue.
