I wanted to share a helpful tip that I recently discovered when working with the Wyze Switch Neutral Accessory. After some trial and error, I found that adjusting the wire connections can make a significant difference in the ease of installation and the overall performance of the switch. Here’s what I learned:
When attaching the wire to the side of the switch, it’s important to remove the wire cover and twist it multiple times in a clockwise direction. This tightens the wire bundle, making it easier to slip into the connector without causing any fraying. On the opposite side, I left the wire soft by not twisting it. This makes it easier to connect to the neutral bundle using the wire nut.
This simple adjustment not only made the installation process smoother but also ensured a more secure connection. I highly recommend trying this technique if you’re working with Wyze Switches or similar devices. It’s a small tip, but it can make a big difference!
If anyone has other installation tips or experiences they’d like to share, I’d love to hear them. Happy wiring! ![]()
