Wyze Thermostat Auxiliary Heat Functionality

I’m really excited about the Wyze Thermostat and its potential for my home! I’ve been researching smart thermostats for a while now, and the Wyze model caught my eye due to its sleek design and affordable price point. However, I have a specific concern regarding its functionality with my heat pump system. I currently use a traditional thermostat that allows me to monitor and control auxiliary heat, which is essential during colder months when the outdoor temperature drops significantly. My main questions are: Does the Wyze Thermostat support auxiliary heat monitoring? Can it display when the system is using auxiliary heat? Additionally, I’d like to know if it’s possible to manually activate emergency heat through the thermostat’s interface. From what I’ve read, the Wyze Thermostat seems to lack some of these features, but I’m hopeful that there might be a workaround or a setting I haven’t discovered yet. If anyone has experience with this or can provide guidance, I’d greatly appreciate it! I’m also curious if others have found creative solutions to similar challenges. Thanks in advance for your insights and help!
