Hello everyone, I hope you’re all having a great day! I wanted to share my experience with setting up the Wyze Thermostat for my farm property. It’s been a fun project, and I thought I’d walk through how I achieved the automation I was looking for.
So, the setup: I have a farm property that I visit once a week. The challenge was to keep the thermostat set to 55 degrees when I’m not there, but allow it to go up to 70 degrees when I arrive. I wanted it to default back to 55 the next day automatically. After some research and tinkering, I found a solution that works perfectly!
Here’s what I did: I used the Wyze app to set up a schedule that changes the temperature based on my arrival. I also integrated it with my smart speaker so I can adjust the temperature hands-free when I get there. The best part? It all happens seamlessly without any manual intervention beyond my initial setup.
