As the weather in Virginia continues to swing dramatically between cold mornings and warm afternoons, I’ve been relying heavily on my Wyze Thermostat to maintain a comfortable home environment. However, I’ve encountered a recurring issue that I’d love to see addressed in future updates. The thermostat’s scheduling feature doesn’t allow for independent temperature settings for heating and cooling, which is a significant inconvenience for us. For instance, in the early morning, we need the heat set to 72°F when it’s 45°F outside, and in the mid-afternoon, we require the AC to cool to 74°F when it’s 80°F outside. Unfortunately, the current scheduling options don’t accommodate these specific needs, forcing me to manually adjust the thermostat multiple times a day. It would be incredibly helpful to have separate schedules for heating and cooling modes, which would streamline the process and enhance the thermostat’s functionality. Despite this challenge, I’m thoroughly impressed with how seamlessly Wyze integrates with other smart home devices, such as my Philips Hue light bulbs and Sonos speakers. The ability to create cohesive routines using these devices has greatly improved my daily life. I’m hopeful that Wyze will consider this feedback and continue to innovate, making their products even more versatile and user-friendly.
