Hey Wyze community! I’ve been using the Wyze Outdoor Cam V2 with an SD card for a while now, and everything was working smoothly until recently. I noticed that while the camera is recording video to the SD card, I can’t play those videos without subscribing to CamPlus. This is a bit frustrating because I expected the SD card footage to be accessible without an additional subscription.
I’ve checked the camera settings and ensured the SD card is properly formatted and recognized by the device. The camera does show that it’s recording, but when I try to view the footage, it just says I need a CamPlus subscription. I’m wondering if there’s a workaround or if this is a known issue that others have encountered.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, did you find a solution or alternative way to access the recorded videos without upgrading to CamPlus? I’d really appreciate any insights or suggestions you might have. Let’s keep the conversation positive and collaborative!
