Hi everyone, I wanted to share my experience and hopefully get some insights from the community. I recently purchased the Wyze Cam 3 Bundle, which includes the camera and a garage door opener. The camera works perfectly on its own, and the garage door opener also functions well independently. However, I’ve encountered an issue when trying to use them together.
When the camera is paired with the garage door opener, I can no longer access the live video stream on my Google Home displays. This is quite frustrating because I rely on the live feed for monitoring purposes. If I disconnect the garage door opener, the video streaming works without any problems.
I’ve tried a few troubleshooting steps, such as resetting both devices and checking the network settings, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if there’s a workaround or a fix.
One idea I have is to use a third-party app like IFTTT or Webhooks to bridge the gap between the camera and the garage door opener. Maybe there’s a way to automate the video streaming separately from the garage door functionality. I’d love to hear if anyone has successfully integrated these devices or has any tips on how to approach this.
