Hi everyone, I’m thrilled to share my recent success with setting up an automation using the Xiaomi Mijia Wireless Round Remote Switch (WXKG01LM) with the Xiaomi Gateway 3. As a newcomer to Home Assistant, I found the process both challenging and rewarding. Here’s my journey:
Initially, I was a bit overwhelmed because I couldn’t find a ready-made automation blueprint for this device. After some research, I adapted a ZHA-based blueprint to work with the Xiaomi Gateway 3 integration. The result? A fully functional automation that responds to single, double, triple, and quadruple presses, as well as hold and release actions!
