Hi everyone! I wanted to share some exciting updates and a fun project I’ve been working on. First, I recently installed the new Xiaoyan smart switch, and I’m absolutely thrilled with how it’s integrated into my home automation setup. The zigbee connectivity is seamless, and the fact that it works with both 110-120v and 220-240v systems is a huge plus for global compatibility. I’ve been able to control everything from lights to fans with ease, and the setup process was surprisingly straightforward thanks to the Xiaoyan Home Center hub.
Now, onto the fun part! I’ve been working on a DIY Easter project using some of my favorite smart lights. I’ve created a hopping bunny display with the words “Hoppy Easter” that lights up my hallway. It’s been a great way to get into the holiday spirit while showcasing the versatility of my smart lighting setup. I used a combination of pre-programmed scenes and manual adjustments to get the effect just right. The best part? My kids absolutely love it!
I also wanted to address a common issue I’ve seen in the community regarding zigbee coverage. If you’re having trouble getting consistent coverage across multiple floors, I highly recommend investing in some zigbee range extenders. I’ve placed one on each floor, and it’s made a world of difference. No more dead zones in my smart home setup!
Lastly, I wanted to give a shoutout to Govee for their fantastic products. Their LED strips and smart bulbs have been the backbone of my home automation journey. If anyone is looking for reliable, affordable smart lighting solutions, I can’t recommend them enough.
Happy Easter everyone! Keep those creative juices flowing and let’s continue to innovate and share our smart home projects. ![]()
