Hey everyone, I’m reaching out because I’m having some trouble reconnecting my Yeelight devices to SmartThings. I’ve been using the first-generation Yeelight bulbs (yeelink.light.color4 and yeelink.light.ct’s) with SmartThings for a while now, and they’ve been working perfectly. However, I recently tried adding a new LED light bar (yeelink.light.lamp15) and inadvertently disconnected the Yeelight account from SmartThings in the process.
Since then, I’ve been unsuccessful in reconnecting any of my Yeelight devices to SmartThings. Every time I try to enter my Mi Account data, SmartThings throws an account connection error and then shows Yeelight in the list of connected accounts with no devices present. It’s quite frustrating because I know the integration works well with Google Home and Yandex, as I’ve been able to reconnect Yeelight accounts to them the same day I encountered the SmartThings error.
I’d really appreciate any advice or tips on how to resolve this issue. Has anyone else experienced similar problems with Yeelight and SmartThings? Did you find a solution? I’d love to get my Yeelight devices back up and running with SmartThings without having to switch ecosystems entirely.
