Hey everyone! I wanted to share my success story with integrating the Yieryi WiFi Pool Monitor device into my Home Assistant setup. After some initial hurdles, I managed to get all the data points working smoothly. Here’s how I did it:
Initially, I struggled with getting all the sensor data to appear in HA. The device showed as connected, but only a few data points were visible. I reached out to the community and did some research, and here’s what worked for me:
- Device Setup: I used the Tuya integration in HACS and made sure to enter the correct local key provided by the manufacturer.
- Configuration: I manually added the missing data points in the Tuya device configuration. This included TDS, pH, ORP, and battery percentage.
- Testing: I tested each sensor one by one to ensure they were updating correctly. It took a bit of trial and error, but everything started working after a few restarts.
Now, I have a comprehensive pool monitoring system that tracks all the essential parameters in real-time. It’s been a game-changer for maintaining optimal pool conditions!
