I recently upgraded my Aeotec MultiSensor 6 to firmware 1.13 in hopes of resolving some issues with motion detection. While the sensor works perfectly for temperature, humidity, and light levels, the motion detection feature remains elusive. I’ve tried adjusting various parameters, resetting the sensor multiple times, and even switching it between different Z-Wave controllers, but nothing seems to trigger the motion alarm. The tamper alarm works when I touch the case, but it doesn’t switch off afterward, which is a bit confusing. I also noticed that the sensor doesn’t send any “alarm_motion” events to my OpenHAB setup, which is frustrating because I rely on this data for my home automation routines. Has anyone else encountered similar issues with the MultiSensor 6? Any insights or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated! I’m determined to get this working and would love to hear from anyone who has successfully resolved this problem.
