Hello everyone! I hope this message finds you all well. I wanted to share my recent experience with integrating some Z-Wave devices into my smart home setup, as well as seek some advice from the community.Over the past few weeks, I’ve been working on expanding my smart home ecosystem by adding a few new Z-Wave devices. Specifically, I’ve been trying to integrate a Vero Duco grating device unit, which controls a ventilation system in my house. The device is paired with a Fibaro HC Lite and recognized as a multilevel switch with a slider and temperature sensor. While this works seamlessly in the Fibaro system, I’ve been eager to get it functioning within the Homey platform for better integration with my other smart devices.Unfortunately, I’ve encountered some challenges along the way. After updating my firmware, I noticed that my Z-Wave network became unstable, with devices frequently dropping off the network. This has been particularly frustrating, as myPhilio sensors, which were previously working perfectly, are now causing intermittent connectivity issues. I’ve tried reverting to a previous firmware version, but the problem persists, leaving me unsure of how to proceed. In addition to this, I’ve also been exploring the possibility of merging two contact sensors into a single virtual sensor. My goal is to create a more reliable system where the alarm is only triggered when both sensors detect an open door. While I’ve had success with similar setups using presence sensors and lights, I’m struggling to find a device type that can effectively merge two contact sensors into one.I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with these types of integrations or has encountered similar issues. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Whether it’s troubleshooting tips for Z-Wave connectivity or recommendations for merging sensors, your insights would be invaluable.Thank you all for your time and help. I look forward to hearing from you!
