Hi everyone, I’m reaching out to the community for some guidance on a couple of issues I’ve been encountering with my Z-Wave setup. First, I’ve been having trouble pairing new devices to my Vera2 controller. Despite following the steps carefully, the Vera2 doesn’t seem to detect the devices properly. I’ve tried adding a GE Dimmer switch, an Intermatic plug-in, and a GE outdoor module, but none of them are registering. I’m wondering if there’s something I’m missing in the pairing process or if there’s a specific setting I need to adjust on the Vera2.
Additionally, I’ve noticed that two of my GoControl GC-TBZ48 Z-Wave thermostats are consuming batteries at an alarming rate. What used to last an entire heating season now barely makes it through two weeks. I switched to an Aeotec hub this summer, so I’m curious if that could be contributing to the increased battery drain. Is there a setting or configuration I might have overlooked that’s causing this issue?
