I tried reinterviewing the device through Zwave2Mqtt with the ‘reset security class’ option, but it didn’t update the security settings. After some research and experimentation, I discovered that excluding the device and re-including it was the only reliable solution. While this wasn’t my first choice, it resolved the issue and restored full functionality.
For anyone else struggling with similar problems, I recommend checking the latest firmware updates for your devices and ensuring all settings are correctly configured before attempting any troubleshooting steps. It’s also a good idea to document your process and settings for easier reference in the future.
