Z-Wave Device Warning: Understanding and Resolving [ZWAVE]

Hello everyone! I’m really enjoying my journey into the world of smart home automation, and I must say, Z-Wave devices have been a fantastic addition to my setup. I recently added a Qubino Flush 2 Relay to my system, and while it’s been working perfectly, I noticed a small warning message in my logs that I want to understand better.

Every time I toggle the switch, I see this warning:

[WARN ] [class.ZWaveMultiInstanceCommandClass] - NODE 5: The originating endpoint is 1. Please notify author.

At first glance, it’s a bit concerning, but I want to make sure I’m not missing something important. The device itself functions flawlessly, and I don’t notice any issues with its operation. However, I’m curious about the warning and whether it indicates a potential problem down the line.

I’m running OpenHAB 2 in an unstable build, and I’m wondering if this is a known issue or if there’s a configuration tweak that could resolve it. I’m also curious about what the message means by ‘originating endpoint is 1’ and why it’s suggesting I notify the author.

I’m really excited about the possibilities Z-Wave offers, and I’m looking forward to expanding my setup even further. If anyone has encountered this before or has insights to share, I’d be grateful for your advice! Let’s keep the conversation going and help each other troubleshoot these minor hiccups.

Thanks in advance for your support and wisdom! :grinning:
