Hi everyone, I’ve been having some trouble with Z-Wave inclusion after switching to Home Assistant (HA) with my Z-Wave stick. Initially, I couldn’t include any devices, even though the existing ones were working fine. I decided to purchase a new stick, which worked perfectly for including devices in HA. However, when I tried to use the NVM backup from my old stick to transfer the devices to the new one, inclusion stopped working again. I’m wondering if anyone has encountered a similar issue or has any tips to resolve this.
I’ve also noticed that some users have had success with different configurations or troubleshooting steps. For example, someone mentioned that resetting the Z-Wave network or ensuring the stick is properly recognized by HA can sometimes resolve inclusion issues. I’m curious to hear if others have faced this and how they managed to fix it.
Additionally, I came across a post where someone shared their experience with a problematic Z-Wave device that wouldn’t pair. They suggested checking the firmware version of the stick and ensuring it’s up to date. I wonder if firmware updates could be a potential solution for my issue as well.
If anyone has any insights or solutions, I’d greatly appreciate the help! I’m eager to get this working smoothly so I can fully integrate my Z-Wave devices into HA. Thanks in advance for your advice!
