Hi everyone,
I recently upgraded my openHAB setup from version 2.3 to 2.4, and unfortunately, my Z-Wave devices have gone offline. The serial port seems to be detected correctly, as indicated in the logs, but the Z-Wave controller reports Offline - Bridge_Offline. This is quite puzzling since everything was working fine before the upgrade.
Here are the relevant logs from my setup:
2018-12-22 13:31:13.771 [INFO ] [ing.zwave.handler.ZWaveSerialHandler] - Connecting to serial port ‘/dev/ttyAMA0’
2018-12-22 13:31:13.878 [INFO ] [ing.zwave.handler.ZWaveSerialHandler] - Serial port is initialized
2018-12-22 13:31:13.938 [INFO ] [ve.internal.protocol.ZWaveController] - Starting ZWave controller
2018-12-22 13:31:13.940 [INFO ] [ve.internal.protocol.ZWaveController] - ZWave timeout is set to 5000ms. Soft reset is false.
I’m running openHAB on a Raspberry Pi using openHABianPi. After the upgrade, the system worked for a few hours but then stopped connecting to my Z-Wave devices. I’ve tried rebooting the system and power-cycling the Raspberry Pi, but neither has resolved the issue.
Has anyone else encountered this problem after upgrading to openHAB 2.4? I’d greatly appreciate any suggestions or troubleshooting steps to get my Z-Wave devices back online. Let me know if you need any additional information from my logs or setup.
Best regards,
