I recently set up some ZEN32 scene switches using zwavejs2MQTT and wanted to share my experience. These switches integrate seamlessly with Home Assistant, offering a clean and efficient way to manage multiple scene automations. Here’s how I did it:
-
Setup Process: I followed the blueprint provided by @fxlt which simplifies the automation setup. The key was ensuring the switch entity and the 5 scene sensors were correctly configured.
-
Benefits: This setup allows a single automation for each switch, significantly reducing the clutter compared to multiple individual automations. It’s both clean and efficient.
-
GitHub Gist: For those interested, my version of the blueprint is available on GitHub: GitHub Gist. Feel free to use it and let me know if you spot any improvements!
This was my first real project with zwavejs2MQTT, and I’m excited to see how it performs over time. Happy automating! ![]()
