I was trying to search for a specific device within an automation, but it kept returning ‘not found’ even though I knew it was present. For instance, when I searched for ‘worktop’ in the automation interface, the lamp named ‘worktop’ wasn’t detected. This was perplexing because the device was clearly visible elsewhere in the system. After some research, I discovered that this issue was specific to ZHA devices, which made me a bit concerned about their reliability in my setup. However, after reaching out to the community and doing some digging, I found that this was a known bug that had been addressed in a recent update. Updating my system resolved the issue, and now the search functionality works perfectly for all my ZHA devices. It’s a relief to have this sorted out, and it reinforces the importance of keeping one’s system up to date.
